Day 01 - Morning, depart Sandakan for a 2 hours drive to Gomantong Caves to explore the biggest bird’s nest cave in Sabah. Continue the journey passing through oil palm plantations to reach Sukau village, proceed by boat on the Kinabatangan river to the Lodge for lunch. Late afternoon will be spent cruising along the river at the forest reserve to watch the wildlife and the Proboscis monkeys which can only be found in Borneo. Proboscis monkeys are quaint looking creatures with a distinctive large nose and can make a wide range of noises, including squeals and loud roars. They are diurnal, but most active during early morning and late afternoon when moving to sleeping sites, usually along a river bank. Return to the lodge for dinner and overnight stay. (L, D)
Day 02 - After breakfast, return by boat then by coach to Sandakan. (B)
NOTE:- Dress casually, wear tennis shoes or thongs, swim suit, bring along binocular, insect repellent, touch light and raincoat.
